Sadly some die feeling terrible regret
They must die like a bird tied in a net
The being will suffer and feel great pain
Not knowing that hate is all they’ve gained

Sadly we try so hard and fail to succeed
The failure cuts deep and makes the heart bleed
The beastly heart caged by our ribs turns into a pillow
Then droops low like a depressed willow
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sadly we get sick knowing theirs no cure
You think it’s your fault so you cry, god what more
You hurt so bad you forget to enjoy the last moments
It’s not your fault, but that’s the path you’ve chosen
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sadly we take each day for granted
You miss the big picture cause you’re looking at life all slanted
You miss the moments you could’ve loved
You put everything else on hold because that one problem was put above

Never Pretend To Sleep by Mya K.Brew I was around 5 years old when I learned to never fake sleep when Grams and Pa come to town. Every year for Halloween, Christmas, Easter, and Independents Day Grams and Pa would come to visit from Arizona. Whenever they’d come I’d sleep with them so I could hear all the awesome stories about their students back in Phoenix. Crazy thing, somehow I ended up back in my bed when I swore I fell asleep in Grams and Pa’s bed. Anyways, It was around 9:30 when I felt tired. I went to Grams and Pa’s bedroom then suddenly I didn’t feel tired.
